The composition is built on an ornamental system inspired by the geometry of the Borjgali. Interlaced lines and rhombic elements create a visual dynamic of continuous motion, which in traditional Georgian ornament is linked to the eternal order of the universe, the energy of the sun and the renewal of life.
Every form is made by hand in our workshop — no mass production.
Borjgali, pomegranate, vine — symbols that span centuries.
Every dot and line is applied by brush — no two pieces are alike.
Sets come in our signature box — ready to give.

Orkol Studio is a Georgian ceramics workshop where every piece is shaped, fired and painted by hand.
Our work is rooted in the Georgian ornamental tradition — Borjgali, pomegranate, vine and ancient geometric figures. We make tableware, decorative bowls, jugs and gift sets that are both for everyday use and works of art.
Every piece is one of a kind: no two lines, no two dots are ever the same.
A single piece takes from several days to several weeks to make.
The form is made by hand and on the wheel, from local clay.
The piece dries slowly and is fired in the kiln for the first time.
The ornament is applied dot by dot with a brush — every pattern by hand.
A second firing gives strength, shine and food safety.
We make custom pieces — in your choice of colour, ornament and inscription.
